Matt Wilson (born May 8, 1985) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series, driving the No. 7 Chevrolet for CCM Racing. Racing career ARCA Menards Series East Wilson made his ARCA Menards Series East debut in 2022 at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. He will be running the No. 22 Chevrolet SS for CCM Racing. However, a mix-up occurred which the No. 22 withdrew, meaning Matt will drive the No. 10 for Fast Track with CCM as Tony Cosentino will replace Tim Monroe in the No. 12. 2022 General Tire 150 (Phoenix)
The 2022 General Tire 150 was the second stock car race of the 2022 ARCA Menards Series, the first race of the 2022 ARCA Menards Series West and the 2022 Sioux Chief Showdown, and the third iteration of the event. The race was held on Friday, March 11, 2022, in Avondale, Arizona at Phoenix Raceway, a 1-mile (1.6 km) permanent low-banked tri-oval race track. The race was run over 154 laps due to an overtime finish. Taylor Gray of David Gilliland Racing would win the race after leading 43 laps. This was Gray's first career ARCA Menards Series win and his fourth career west series win. It was an emotional win, as Gray dedicated it to Steven Stotts, the DGR hauler driver who was killed following an accident in Longview, Texas, on March 8. The Rust-Oleum Automotive Finishes 100 (formerly the Southern Illinois 100) is an ARCA Menards Series stock car race held annually on the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds Racetrack during the DuQuoin State Fair on Labor Day weekend. The Sprecher 150 is a annual ARCA Menards Series/ARCA Menards Series East combination race held at the Milwaukee Mile in West Allis, Wisconsin. The event returned to the ARCA schedule in 2021 for the first time since 2007. It was originally held from 1982 and 1983 before being brought back from 2005 through 2007. The Atlas 100 (formerly the Allen Crowe 100) is an ARCA Racing Series stock car race held annually on the Illinois State Fairgrounds Racetrack during the Illinois State Fair. Allen Crowe Born November 12, 1928, in Springfield, Illinois, Allen Crowe died in New Bremen, Ohio, on June 2, 1963, from injuries sustained in a Sprint Car race at New Bremen Speedway. Allen cut his teeth at the now-defunct Springfield Speedway. He started in Stock cars and moved up fast. He soon became a first class racer, winning the Missouri-Illinois stock car title. The General Tire 100 at The Glen is an ARCA Menards Series race held annually at Watkins Glen International, on the road course. It was previously a part of the NASCAR East Series schedule until 2020 when the series was merged with ARCA and was moved to the ARCA Menards Series schedule. History The NASCAR Busch North Series had run at Watkins Glen from 1993 until 2004. The series, now known as the NASCAR Camping World East Series, returned to track four years later in 2008 and 2009, but the race was removed from the schedule again after that. The Sunset Hill Shooting Range 150 is a annual ARCA Menards Series race held at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pennsylvania. The track has been on the ARCA schedule each year since 1987 and the track also hosted races for the series in 1969 and 1983. History ARCA ran at Pocono Raceway for the first time in 1969 on a paved oval, two years before the modern superspeedway was opened. That race was won by Bobby Watson. The race has been scheduled on either the ARCA Menards Series or ARCA Menards Series East schedules each year except for 2019 (and run each year except that year and 2020). History The ARCA Permatex SuperCar Series (now known as the ARCA Menards Series), ran its inaugural race at the track in 1986. It then was off the schedule for a dozen years.
