Matthew Rempe ( ; born June 29, 2002) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre for the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League. He was drafted by the Rangers in the sixth round of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Junior Rempe is known for his large size at tall and . He was not drafted in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft and started his junior career with the Spruce Grove Saints of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) after being the final cut in training camp of the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League (WHL). Rempe made the Thunderbirds the following year and despite an injury that forced him to miss the first 15 games of the season, he posted 12 goals and 19 assists for 31 points in 47 games for the 2019–20 season. Jimmy Vesey
James Michael Vesey (born May 26, 1993) is an American professional ice hockey left winger for the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Nashville Predators in the third round, 66th overall, of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. Vesey attended Harvard and won the Hobey Baker Award in 2016. After going un-signed by Nashville, Vesey signed as a free-agent with the New York Rangers in 2016, with whom he played three seasons, before spending the next three seasons with the Buffalo Sabres, Toronto Maple Leafs, Vancouver Canucks, and New Jersey Devils. 2024 NHL Stadium Series
The 2024 NHL Stadium Series was a series of two outdoor regular season National Hockey League (NHL) games that were played during the 2023–24 NHL season. This was the first time since 2016 that two Stadium Series games were scheduled instead of just one. Both games were held on the weekend of February 17–18, 2024, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Peter Laviolette
Peter Philip Laviolette Jr. (born December 7, 1964) is an American professional ice hockey coach and former player who most recently served as the head coach for the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League (NHL). Originally undrafted by teams in the NHL, he played a total of 12 games with the Rangers in the 1988–89 season. Following retirement from active play, Laviolette also served as head coach of the New York Islanders, Carolina Hurricanes, Philadelphia Flyers, Nashville Predators, and Washington Capitals.
