Matt Knowles (soccer)
Matt Knowles (born October 7, 1970) is a former U.S. soccer defender who spent most of his career playing indoor soccer. However, he also spent time in the American Professional Soccer League in the early 1990s and Major League Soccer. APSL Knowles grew up in Philadelphia and attended Archbishop Ryan High School from 1985 to 1988. Most sources state that Knowles turned professional immediately after high school. Knowles went on to play at Wake Forest University but left after 2 seasons and turned pro. he signed with the Penn-Jersey Spirit of the American Professional Soccer League (APSL). In 1991, Knowles played nineteen games with the Spirit, scoring one goal. The Spirit folded at the end of the 1991 season and Knowles moved to the Fort Lauderdale Strikers for the 1992 APSL season. While he was an integral part of the Spirit, Knowles saw time in only three games with the Strikers. In 1993, he moved to the Tampa Bay Rowdies where his playing time increased to nine games. In ... Matthew Caution is a retired American soccer player who played professionally in the USISL and the National Professional Soccer League. Youth In 1993, Caution graduated from Fort Zumwalt South High School. He attended Southwest Missouri State University, playing on the men's soccer team from 1993 to 1997. In 1994, he broke his leg while playing for the St. Louis Knights of the USISL during the collegiate off-season. He lost his 1994 season with the Bears, but returned in 1995 and played through the 1997 season. He holds the school record for points (125), goals (46) and assists (33). Major Indoor Soccer League (2001–2008)
The Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) was the top professional indoor soccer league in the United States. The league was a member of both the United States Soccer Federation and FIFA. The MISL had replaced the NPSL which folded in 2001. According to MISL.net, the league ceased operations as of May 31, 2008. Obi Moneme is a retired Nigerian-American soccer player who played as a forward. Moneme is now a neurological physician for OhioHealth. College career Moneme graduated high school from Mansfield Christian. Moneme played his collegiate career at Ohio Wesleyan, scoring 57 goals across his four years, ranking third in all-time goals for the Battling Bishops. Moneme started his career by scoring 7 goals with 6 assists in his freshman year, helping his team reach the national championship where they lost to Kean University. Todd Dusosky
Todd Dusosky (born May 12, 1976 in Anoka, Minnesota) is a retired American soccer forward who spent most of his career with indoor teams. He also played a handful of seasons in the USL A-League. Soccer Dusosky graduated from Anoka High School in 1994. After spending one year attending Viterbo College in La Crosse, Wisconsin, he turned professional. In 1995, he began his career with the Cleveland Crunch of the National Professional Soccer League. That season the Crunch won the league championship as Dusosky was named a second team All Star. He then began the 1996-1997 season in Cleveland, but on December 26, 1996, the Crunch sent Dusosky and several other players, to the Milwaukee Wave in exchange for Matt Knowles. Glenn Carbonara (born September 17, 1966) is a retired American soccer defender who spent his entire professional career in the American indoor leagues. Youth In 1984, Carbonara graduated from Vineland High School. He was a 1984 Parade Magazine High School All American soccer player. He holds the single season scoring record for the state of New Jersey with 67 goals set in 1983. He is a member of the Vineland High School Hall of Fame. The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of a pair of cruciate ligaments (the other being the posterior cruciate ligament) in the human knee. The two ligaments are also called "cruciform" ligaments, as they are arranged in a crossed formation.
