Matt Jaskol
Matthew Allen Jaskol (born October 15, 1984) is an American professional auto racing driver and spotter. He has competed in a variety of different racing disciplines including kart racing, kart, open-wheel racing, open-wheel, and stock car racing (including the NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Xfinity and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Truck Series). As a spotter, Jaskol won the 2016 Indianapolis 500 as the spotter for Alexander Rossi. After spending much of his early career in karting, Jaskol became a member of the Red Bull Driver Search and competed in Formula BMW USA, where he won Red Bull's first race in North America in 2004. The following year, he won the American Speed Association Speed Truck Challenge championship. He would later race in the Indy Pro Series and the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series. Freedom 100
The Freedom 100 was an automobile race held annually at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana, as part of the Indy NXT, Indy Lights. The event was a Card (sports)#Undercard, support race for the IndyCar Series Indianapolis 500, and since 2005, it was held on the Friday preceding the Indianapolis 500, the day known as "Indianapolis 500 traditions#Practice and qualifying, Carb Day". The Freedom 100 was the second race annually at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the other being the Grand Prix of Indianapolis (Indy Lights), Grand Prix on the combined road course. Race history The Freedom 100 has its origins in both United States Auto Club, USAC's Indy Lights#USAC Mini Indy Series, Mini Indy series and Champ Car, CART's ARS/Indy Lights series. 2007 Indy Pro Series
The 2007 IRL Indy Pro Series was the sixth season of the developmental open-wheel racing series under the Indy Racing League ownership, and the 22nd in Indy NXT combined history, as officially recognized by IndyCar. All teams used Dallara IL-02 chassis, which was fitted with a new wing package, as well as unbranded TWR engines and Firestone tires. In his second season in the series, Alex Lloyd became the runaway champion with Sam Schmidt Motorsports, clinching the title with two races remaining at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma. Lloyd won the first five races of the season, tying Greg Moore's start of the 1995 season for the all-time consecutive wins record in Indy Lights history. Aided by an expanded schedule, Lloyd won eight races including the Freedom 100, and became the third driver to reach that number after Paul Tracy's nine wins in 1990 and Moore's ten wins in 1995.
