Matthew Paul Hyde is a British record producer and mixing engineer. His studio is based in London. Hyde has worked with Gallows, Funeral for a Friend, Bullet for My Valentine, Trivium, Machine Head, As I Lay Dying, Chimaira, Ash, Razorlight, and Dååth. Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a Music genre, genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. Slipknot (Slipknot Album)
''Slipknot'' is the debut studio album by American heavy metal band Slipknot. It was released on June 29, 1999, by Roadrunner Records, following a demo containing a few of the songs which had previously been released in 1998. Later, it was reissued in December 1999 with a slightly-altered track listing and mastering as the result of a lawsuit. It was the first release by the band to be produced by Ross Robinson, who sought to refine Slipknot's sound rather than alter the group's musical direction. This is the only album to feature original guitarist Josh Brainard who left at the end of recording in late 1998 while the band was taking a brief break. "Tears Don't Fall" is a song by Welsh heavy metal band Bullet for My Valentine. It is the band's fourth single from their first full-length studio album, ''The Poison''. The single was released on 17 June 2006 through Trustkill Records in the US. The song won the Kerrang! Award for Best Single. It was released on October 10, 2006, through Roadrunner Records and was produced by Jason Suecof and the band themselves. The album marked a significant musical change from the metalcore sound of their preceding album '' Ascendancy'', with the band utilizing thrash metal influences. A gallows (or less precisely scaffold) is a frame or elevated beam, typically wooden, from which objects can be suspended or "weighed". Gallows were thus widely used to suspend public weighing scales for large and heavy objects such as sacks of grain or minerals, usually positioned in markets or toll gates.
