Matt Halischuk
Matthew "Matt" Halischuk (born June 1, 1988) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey Winger (ice hockey), right winger. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the New Jersey Devils, Nashville Predators and Winnipeg Jets. Halischuk is of Ukrainians, Ukrainian descent. Playing career Halischuk was drafted 117th overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils. He was drafted from the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) where he played for the Kitchener Rangers and the Toronto St. Michael's Majors. He was selected to Canada men's national junior ice hockey team, Team Canada for the 2008 IIHF World U20 Championship. At the Under-20 Championship, he scored the game-winning goal in Overtime (ice hockey), overtime of the gold medal game. Nashville Predators
The Nashville Predators (colloquially referred to as the Preds) are a professional ice hockey team based in Nashville, Tennessee. The Predators compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Central Division (NHL), Central Division in the Western Conference (NHL), Western Conference. The team has played its home games at Bridgestone Arena since 1998. Their television broadcasting rights are held by Bally Sports South, and the Nashville Predators Radio Network flagship station is WPRT-FM. The Predators are currently affiliated with two minor league teams: the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League (AHL), and the Atlanta Gladiators of the ECHL.
