Matthew Davidson
Matthew Davidson is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter originally from Shreveport, Louisiana and now based in Nashville, Tennessee. He is currently touring with Restless Road. He has also toured with Conner Smith and Travis Denning. He has performed at the Grand Ole Opry, on Today with Hoda and Jenna, and on Broadway in downtown Nashville at venues such as Dierks Whiskey Row, The Stage, Legends Corner, Second Fiddle, and Tootsie's. He graduated in 2020 from Belmont University with a Bachelor of Music in Commercial Guitar. Awards and experience Davidson was the winner of the 2011 Robert Johnson Blues Foundation/Gibson Guitar New Generation Award. His debut EP "Step Up" was released in 2012 and produced by bassist Joe Osborn. It was followed by his 2014 EP "Cross My Heart". Matthew Glen Davidson (born March 26, 1991) is an American professional baseball infielder for the NC Dinos of the KBO League. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago White Sox, Cincinnati Reds and Oakland Athletics, and in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp. Career Davidson attended Yucaipa High School in Yucaipa, California. He committed to attend the University of Southern California (USC) on a scholarship to play college baseball for the USC Trojans baseball team. Mat Davidson
Charles Mark Anthony "Mat" Davidson (2 May 1869 – 9 January 1949) was an Australian politician. Early life Davidson was born in Sydney to James Davidson, a tailor from Edinburgh, and his wife Margaret. Davidson left school at 12 to begin an apprenticeship as a tailor, which he did not complete. After a short period working on a coastal vessel trading with the Pacific islands Davidson worked as a bushworker, shearer and tank sinker in the Monaro. He worked as miner from about 1888 to 1896 in Victoria, Broken Hill and Cobar. He lost an eye in a mining accident and became a tobacconist and barber in Cobar. He married Gertrude Mary Snape in July 1901 and they had three daughters and one son. Davidson was a foundation member of the Australian Workers' Union and helped to form a local branch of the Amalgamated Miners' Association in Cobar.
