Matilde Casazola
Matilde Casazola Mendoza (born February 19, 1942 in Sucre, Bolivia) is a Bolivian poet and songwriter who writes songs rooted in her country's musical traditions. Life and work She is the daughter of Juan Casazola Ugarte and Tula Mendoza Loza; granddaughter of the author of “Macizo boliviano” Jaime Mendoza. At the age of eleven, she won the First Prize at the Children's Floreales Games in the city of Sucre. She studied music at the Normal School of Teachers, where the Spanish professor Pedro García Ripoll was one of her teachers. In 1974, Casazola visited Argentina where she had an extensive tour singing and composing more poems and songs. Upon her return, she held her first concerts in Bolivia. Later in 1982, she went on another extensive European tour singing and composing, broadening the horizons of her artistic pursuit. Sucre
Sucre () is the capital of Bolivia, the capital of the Chuquisaca Department and the 6th most populated city in Bolivia. Located in the south-central part of the country, Sucre lies at an elevation of . This relatively high altitude gives the city a subtropical highland climate with cool temperatures year-round. Its pre-Columbian name was Chuquisaca; during the Spanish Empire it was called La Plata. A songwriter is a musician who professionally composes musical compositions or writes lyrics for songs, or both. Jaime Mendoza
Jaime Mendoza Gonzáles (1874–1939) was a Bolivian doctor, journalist and writer. A native of Sucre, he trained to be a doctor, providing valuable services in Llallagua and in Guerra del Acre. As a journalist, he founded the newspapers ''Nuevas Rutas'' and ''La República'' in Sucre. He also wrote for many newspapers around the country. Emma Junaro (born 1 November 1953 in Oruro, Bolivia) is a Bolivian musician. Junaro's style incorporates Brazilian popular music, European folk styles and Andean music. She has worked with the record producer Fernando Cabrero on recording the poems of Matilde Casazola, a poet. Paolo Agazzi
''Paolo Agazzi'' (born May 5, 1946 in Motta Baluffi, Italy), in the Cremona region. He has resided in Bolivia since 1975. He studied political science and economics in the State University of Milan as well as directing and writing at Superior Institute of Cinematography in Milan.
