Matigramma Emmilta
''Matigramma emmilta'' is a species of moth in the family Erebidae. It was described by John G. Franclemont in 1986 and is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. The habitat consists of mountain canyons and deserts. The forewing length is 16–19 mm. Adults are on wing from February to October. Moth
Moths are a paraphyletic group of insects that includes all members of the order Lepidoptera that are not butterflies, with moths making up the vast majority of the order. Erebidae
The Erebidae are a family of moths in the superfamily Noctuoidea. The family is among the largest families of moths by species count and contains a wide variety of well-known macromoth groups. ''Chrysothamnus'', known as rabbitbrush, rabbitbush, and chamisa, are a genus of shrubs in the family Asteraceae. The native distribution is in the arid western United States, Canada, and northern Mexico. It is known for its bright white or yellow flowers in late summer. ''Chrysothamnus'' may grow up to a tall shrub or subshrub, usually with woody stem bases. The leaves are alternate, sessile or with short petioles, with entire edges. The flowerheads are singular or in clusters. Each composite flower often has five to 6 (though sometimes upwards of 40) yellow disc florets and no ray florets.
