Matias Defensor, Jr.
Matias Villarico Defensor Jr. (born September 23, 1943) is a Filipino politician. A member of Lakas CMD, he represented the 3rd District of Quezon City in the House of Representatives of the Philippines for two terms from 2004 to 2010. Quezon City (, ; ), also known as the City of Quezon and Q.C. The 2010 Philippine House of Representatives elections were held on May 10, 2010, to elect members to the House of Representatives of the Philippines to serve in the 15th Congress of the Philippines from June 30, 2010, to June 30, 2013. Quezon City's 3rd congressional district is one of the six congressional districts of the Philippines in Quezon City. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1987. The district consists of the southeastern barangays bordering Marikina and Pasig to the southeast, Kamias Road and the second district to the north, the fourth district to the west and San Juan to the southwest via EDSA.
