The Tour of Austria (german: Internationale Österreich Rundfahrt) is a stage cycling race held in Austria. From 1949 to 1995 it was a race for amateur cyclists, turning into a professional event in 1996. 2022 Tour Of Britain
The 2022 Tour of Britain was a men's professional road cycling stage race. It was the eighteenth running of the modern version of the Tour of Britain and the 81st British tour in total. The race was part of the 2022 UCI ProSeries. The Tour of Britain started on 4 September in Aberdeen. The race had been scheduled for eight stages, concluding on 11 September on the Isle of Wight, the first planned finish on the island. On 8 September, the race was cancelled and declared complete after five stages due to the death of Elizabeth II. Route On 1 October 2021, the start and finish venues were announced, with the Grand Départ leaving Aberdeen on 4 September 2022 and the final stage held on the Isle of Wight on 11 September. The tour was to visit Dorset for the first time, and return to Yorkshire for the first time since 2009. Nottinghamshire was to host one of the midweek stages. Paris–Camembert (also Paris–Camembert Trophée Lepetit or Paris–Camembert Lepetit) is a semi classic held annually in April. Since 2005, the race is organized as a 1.1 event on the UCI Europe Tour. The route of the race has varied over the years, it previously started in Magnanville, near Paris, and finished in Vimoutiers. The present day race starts in Pont-Audemer in the Eure department and heads south for 60 km to the environs of the finishing town of Livarot in the Calvados department. Once in the region of Livarot the race takes in seven climbs around the town, some of which are ascended several times. The climbs are namely: Côte de Chevreville-Tonnencourt (one ascent), Côte de l’Angleterre (three ascents), Butte des Fondits (three ascents), Côte de Camembert (one ascent), Côte de la Cavée de Crouttes (two ascents), Côte de Tortisambert (two ascents) and the Côte de la Becquetiere (two ascents).
