Roosteren
Roosteren () is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located in the municipality of Echt-Susteren. The village was first mentioned in 1201 as Rustern. The etymology is unclear. Roosteren developed in the Middle Ages as a linear settlement. In the 13th century, it became part of the Duchy of Guelders. The centre moved to the hamlet Scheiereynde where a church was built. The St Jacobus de Meerdere Church is a three-aisled neoclassic church which was in 1843. It was damaged during World War II and restored in 1946. Eyckholt Castle is a late-16th century estate. A tower was added in the 19th century. Ter Borch Castle (also Roosterborch) was built around 1880 and the location of a 15th century which was demolished in 1632. Roosteren was home to 746 people in 1840. It was a separate municipality until 1982, when it was merged with Susteren. The municipality also covered the hamlets of , , and . Limburg (; ), also known as Dutch Limburg, is the southernmost of the twelve provinces of the Netherlands. It is bordered by Gelderland to the north and by North Brabant to the west. Gitane–Campagnolo
Gitane–Campagnolo was a French professional cycling team that existed from 1969 to 1977. Its main sponsor was the French bicycle manufacturer Gitane. History The Sonolor team was created for the 1969 season after the Pelforth–Sauvage–Lejeune team ended in 1968. In 1974, the Gitane–Frigécrème team of directeur sportif Andre Desvrages was merged into the team creating Sonolor–Gitane. The team was called Gitane–Campagnolo from 1975–1977 and in 1975 signed 1971 French amateur champion Bernard Hinault. During this time the team was directed by Stablinski, but Cyrille Guimard was becoming involved as well as Maurice Champion. After riding strongly in the first two weeks of the race and being the closest GC contender to Eddy Merckx, Luis Ocaña crashed, in the Pyrenees, leaving Merckx to battle Cyrille Guimard for the win.
