Mathew Guberina
Mathew Guberina is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s. He played for Manly-Warringah in the ARL competition. Playing career Before joining Manly, Guberina played for the Warringah Rugby Club. He has the distinction of being the first rugby player to ever be sent to the sin bin. The sin bin was introduced at the start of the 1994 season and Mathew was sent off during Round 1 vs. Eastwood. In round 7 of the 1995 ARL season, he made his first grade debut against North Queensland at the Willows Sports Complex. Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles
The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are an Australian professional rugby league club based in Sydney's Northern Beaches. They compete in the National Rugby League (NRL). The Manly club debuted in the 1947 New South Wales Rugby Football League season and currently hosts the majority of their home games at fortress Brookvale Oval in Brookvale. They train at the New South Wales Academy of Sport in Narrabeen and their Centre of Excellence in Brookvale. The team colours are maroon and white, and they are commonly known as ''Manly''. Warringah Rugby Club is a rugby union club based in Narrabeen the Northern Beaches of Sydney, New South Wales. The club currently competes in the New South Wales Rugby Union competitions, the Shute Shield and Tooheys New Cup. The 1995 ARL premiership was the 88th season of professional rugby league football in Australia, and the first to be run by the Australian Rugby League following the hand-over of the Premiership's administration by the New South Wales Rugby League. Willows Sports Complex
The Willows Sports Complex (last known as 1300SMILES Stadium due to naming rights) was a grass football stadium situated in Townsville, Queensland, Australia. It was used predominantly as a rugby league ground as the home ground of the North Queensland Cowboys National Rugby League club. The ground was also used for rugby union and soccer. From 2009 to 2011, A-League football club North Queensland Fury called it home. A minor premiership is the title given to the team which finishes a sporting competition first in the league standings after the regular season but prior to commencement of the finals in several Australian sports leagues.
