Mathame
Matteo and Amedeo Giovanelli, born in Bergamo (Italy), are Italian brothers known professionally as the DJ and production duo Mathame, artists within the cinematic techno genre. Career Both brothers were trained in classical music, with Amedeo spending five years at a violin conservatory. In addition Matteo studied film, going on to work as a film director. The brothers formed Mathame while living in Sicily at the base of the Mt. Etna volcano, helping to run their family's bed and breakfast, its isolation and unique geography influencing elements of their music. Mathame has been described as a combination of electronic music, dub techno and melodic house, taking influence from science-fiction, classical movie soundtracks, new technology and anime. Rooted in the cinematic techno genre, Mathame's live Audio Visual (AV) show has been described as an immersive performance. Adriatique
Adriatique is a Swiss electronic music producer and DJ duo consisting of Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer. They first met in 2008 and have been producing and playing electronic music as Adriatique since 2009, mainly house and techno. Career In 2016, they founded a record label and platform for the arts called Siamese, which releases their own music as well as productions by others. Siamese has released music by Luca Ballerini, Ed Davenport, Sebastian Mullaert, and Eduardo De La Calle. After gaining recognition in 2012, Adriatique became affiliated with Solomun's Diynamic Musicbr> They released music on various record labels, including Afterlife. Thomas Wesley Pentz (born November 10, 1978), known professionally as Diplo, is an American DJ and music producer. He is a co-creator and lead member of the electronic dancehall music project Major Lazer; a member of the supergroup LSD (group), LSD, with Labrinth and Sia; a member of electronic duo Jack Ü, with producer and DJ Skrillex; and a member of Silk City (band), Silk City, with Mark Ronson.
