Mariya Mitsova
Mariya Mitsova (; born 20 November 1996) is a Bulgarian badminton player. Mitsova represented her country at the Badminton at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics, 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China. In 2016, she became the runner-up at the Croatian International tournament in the mixed doubles event partnered with Alex Vlaar. Alex Christiaan Vlaar (; born 31 July 1996) is a Dutch-Bulgarian badminton player. He was born in Lelystad, the Netherlands. His father Chris Vlaar is a Dutch rally car driver and badminton coach, his mother is former badminton player Emilia Dimitrova who is also a coach. She played for Bulgaria at the 1992 Olympics women's doubles. Career Born in the Netherlands, Vlaar is a former young Dutch badminton player who first played for the Netherlands team. The Badminton World Federation, aka BWF, is the international governing body for the sport of badminton approved by the International Olympic Committee. It was founded on 5 July 1934 as the International Badminton Federation with nine member nations: Canada, Denmark, England, France, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland and Wales. Zvonimir Đurkinjak (born 2 June 1988) is a Croatian badminton player who plays for the Medvedgrad 1998 badminton club. Career Đurkinjak started playing badminton when he was 10. At the Croatian National Badminton Championships he won the men's singles and mixed doubles title nine times from 2005, and eight times in the men's doubles event from 2004.
