Masud Minhas
Masud Ali Khan Minhas (1911 – 16 January 1936) was an Indian field hockey player who competed in the 1932 Summer Olympics. In 1932 he was a member of the Indian field hockey team, which won the gold medal. He played one match as halfback. Field hockey was introduced at the Olympic Games as a men's competition at the 1908 Games in London, with six teams, four from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and other two were France and Germany. History Field hockey was removed from the Summer Olympic Games at the 1924 Paris Games because of the lack of an international sporting structure. The International Hockey Federation (FIH, ''Fédération Internationale de Hockey'') was founded in Paris that year as a response to field hockey's omission. The 1932 Summer Olympics (officially the Games of the X Olympiad and also known as Los Angeles 1932) were an international multi-sport event held from July 30 to August 14, 1932 in Los Angeles, California, United States.
