Master Hirannaiah
Hirannaiah or Hirannayya, known by his stage name Master Hirannaiah (15 February 1934 – 2 May 2019), was an Indian actor in the Kannada film industry and a theatre artist in Karnataka, India. His films include ''...Re'' (2016), '' Care of Footpath 2'' (2015), '' No. 73, Shanthi Nivasa'' (2007). Early life Hirannaiah was born in Mysore, Karnataka on 15 February 1934. His father K. Hirannaiah too was an Indian actor, director, and writer in the Kannada film industry and a theatre artist in the state. His mother was Sharadamma. After finishing primary education in Banumayya Middle school, Hirannaiah completed intermediate in Sharada Vilas, Mysore, Karnataka. In his childhood days, he distributed newspaper ''Sadhvi'' to fund his education, while actively participating in drama and theatre plays. Sri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery, commonly known by its former name Jaganmohana Palace, is a former royal mansion, arts museum and auditorium, and formerly an alternative royal residence of the ruling maharaja of Mysore, located in Mysore, India, about 200m (600ft) to the west of Mysore Palace. Began in 1856 and completed in 1861, the palace is one of the oldest modern structures in Mysore. Gaja (film)
''Gaja'' is a 2008 Indian Kannada-language romantic action drama film directed by K. Madesh. The film stars Darshan in the titular lead role alongside Navya nair. The producers of the film claimed it is based on a story by novelist P. Ramachandra Rao (Chandu). It is a remake of the 2005 Telugu film ''Bhadra''. Plot Gaja (Darshan) and Krishna are close friends. Gaja visits Krishna's village for a holiday but encounters some startling events. He discovers that Krishna's brother, Devendra, is embroiled in a feud with a rival faction, which has strained the relationship between the two families. Despite this, Gaja becomes a favorite of Devendra's family and also develops a liking for Shwetha (Navya Nair), Devendra's sister. In a faction fight, Devendra and his wife are killed. Sangeet Natak Akademi Award (IAST: Saṅgīta Nāṭaka Akādamī Puraskāra), also known as the Akademi Puraskar, is an award given by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, India's National Academy of Music, Dance & Drama. It is the highest Indian recognition given to people in the field of performing arts. Gubbi Veeranna
Gubbi Hampanna Veeranna (1891 – 1972) was an Indian theatre director. He was one of the pioneers and most prolific contributors to Kannada theatre. He established the drama company, ''Gubbi Sree Channabasaveshwara Nataka Company'', which played a crucial role in promoting the Kannada theatre field. He has been conferred the title ''Nataka Ratna'' meaning ''"A Precious Jewel" in the theatre world''. Gubbi Veeranna laid the foundation stone for the Kannada film industry. The Rajyotsava Prashasti or Rajyotsava Award, the second highest civilian honor of the Karnataka state of India are conferred annually by the Karnataka Government on the occasion of the establishment of the state on 1 November, celebrated as the Kannada Rajyotsava.
