Massimo Mirabelli
Massimo Mirabelli (born 21 October 1991) is a Canadian soccer player who last played professionally for arena soccer team Mississauga MetroStars of the Major Arena Soccer League. Club career Mirabelli began his career with Portugal FC of the Canadian Soccer League in 2010. He recorded his first goal for the organization on June 25, 2010, in a 3–2 victory over Milltown F.C. He scored his first professional hat-trick in a match against Brantford Galaxy. He assisted in Portugal's qualification for the postseason by finishing fifth on the overall standings. He contributed with a goal in the semi-final match against Brantford Galaxy, but Portugal was eliminated from the playoffs after losing that match to a score of 5–3. Mirabelli returned to Toronto for the 2011 season and clinched his first regular season title with the club. Brantford Galaxy Soccer Club was a semi-professional Canadian soccer club based in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, with their home venue located in Hamilton, Ontario at the Heritage Field Turf. The club competes in the Canadian Soccer League, a league not sanctioned by a FIFA-recognized body. The Galaxy were formed in 2010 as an expansion franchise. The 2014 North American Soccer League season was the 47th season of Division II soccer in the United States and the fourth season of the revived North American Soccer League. It was contested by ten teams including two from Canada. 2011 CONCACAF U-20 Championship
The 2011 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship was expanded to 12 teams beginning in 2011. The tournament determined the four CONCACAF teams that participated at the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup to be held in Colombia. In addition, the top three finishers from Central America or the Caribbean, in addition to hosts Mexico, qualified to participate at the 2011 Pan American Games. The Executive Committee approved that for men's U-20 championships all three North American teams again qualified automatically for the finals. Central America received four berths, and the Caribbean received five. The new allocations give Central America one more berth than it had in 2009 and the Caribbean three more. Indoor soccer or arena soccer (known internationally as indoor football, fast football, or showball) is five-a-side version of minifootball, derived from association football and adapted to be played in walled hardcourt indoor arena. The Charleston Battery are an American professional association football, soccer club based in Charleston, South Carolina, and member of the USL Championship. Shaun Saiko (born November 13, 1989) is a Canadian retired professional soccer player. Career Club After impressing during a trial, Saiko began his professional career with Middlesbrough in the English Football League Championship. Despite playing extensively with the reserves he never made a first team appearance for the club and was released at the end of the 2009-10 season. Returning home to Canada, he was signed by FC Edmonton of the new North American Soccer League in 2011. The Fort Lauderdale Strikers were an American professional soccer team based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida founded in 2006, that last played in the North American Soccer League (NASL), the second tier of the American soccer pyramid in 2016.
