Massimo Gazzoli
Massimo Gazzoli (born 17 July 1975) is a former Italian football goalkeeper. Career Empoli and early career Born in Viareggio, the Province of Lucca, Tuscany, Gazzoli started his career at Tuscany club Empoli. He left for ''Serie C'' teams Biellese and Marsala before returning to Empoli and playing 8 Serie B games. In January 2000 he left for Montevarchi in co-ownership deal. He returned to Empoli in mid-2000, but soon he was loaned to Pisa. Lucchese In mid-2001, he left for home province club Lucchese in another co-ownership deal and in June 2002 the club bought the remaining 50% registration rights. Viareggio
Viareggio () is a city and ''comune'' in northern Tuscany, Italy, on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. In some sports, this extra period is played only if the game is required to have a clear winner, as in single-elimination tournaments where only one team or players can advance to the next round or win the tournament. Davide Zomer (born 21 October 1977) is an Italian footballer. Biography Born in Rovereto, Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol region (''Trentino – South Tyrol'' in English and ''Trentino – Alto Adige'' in Italian), Zomer started his career at Veneto club Hellas Verona. Rubens Fernando Moedim (born 4 August 1982), known as Rubinho, is a Brazilian footballer who last played as a goalkeeper for Avaí FC. After starting out at Corinthians in his country of birth, he went on to spend most of his professional career in Italy. 2005–06 Serie C1
The 2005–06 Serie C1 was the twenty-eighth edition of Serie C1, the third highest league in the Italian football league system. It was divided into two phases: the regular season, played from 28 August 2005 to 7 May 2006, and the playoff phase. Once the regular season was over teams placed 2nd to 5th entered a ''playoff'' to determine the second team in each division to be promoted to Serie B. At the same time, teams placed 14th to 17th entered a ''playout'' for the right to remain in Serie C1 the following season. As usual, Serie C1 was composed by two divisions, whose teams were divided geographically. The 2004–05 Serie B is the 73rd season since its establishment in 1929. It is the second highest football league in Italy. Teams Arezzo, Catanzaro, Cesena and Crotone had been promoted from Serie C, while Perugia, Modena, and Empoli had been relegated from Serie A, and Ancona had lost their national professional licence. Alessio Scarpi (born 19 April 1973, in Jesolo) is an Italian Football coach and former football goalkeeper, He is the currently goalkeeper coach of club Genoa. Football career Reggina & Cagliari Although born in Veneto, Scarpi started his career at Cagliari. He played for Reggina in two Serie B seasons before returning to Cagliari in the summer of 1997; during the 1997–98 season, he helped Cagliari obtain promotion to Serie A with a third-place finish in Serie B.
