Massimiliano Allegri
Massimiliano "Max" Allegri (; born 11 August 1967) is an Italian professional Association football, football manager and former professional player. He is currently manager of Serie A club AC Milan. During his playing career, Allegri played in the Serie A as a midfielder with Pisa SC, Pisa, Delfino Pescara 1936, Pescara, Cagliari Calcio, Cagliari, AC Perugia Calcio, Perugia and SSC Napoli, Napoli. In 2002, he won the Serie D title with Aglianese Calcio 1923, Aglianese, with whom he retired as a player. The 2011 TIM Supercoppa Italiana was the 24th edition of the Supercoppa, an annual football match contested by the winners of the previous season's Serie A and Coppa Italia competitions. The match, the curtain raiser to the new football season in Italy, was the 208th '' Derby della Madonnina'' between AC Milan and defending champions Inter Milan, marking the first time these two sides have met in this competition. The Supercoppa Italiana, also known as the Italian Super Cup, is an annual super cup tournament in Italian football. Founded in 1988 as a two-team competition, it has featured four teams since 2023 (the winners and runners-up of the previous season's Serie A and Coppa Italia). Before the format change, the match was exclusively contested between the winners of the Serie A and Coppa Italia titles. The 2010–11 Serie A (known as the Serie A TIM for sponsorship reasons) was the 109th season of top-tier Italian football, the 79th in a round-robin tournament, and the 1st since its organization under a league committee separate from Serie B. Serie C1 was the third highest football league in Italy. It consisted of 36 teams, divided geographically into two divisions. History Before the 1978–79 season, there were only three professional football leagues in Italy, the third being Serie C. The league menaging the C was also organizing the semi-professional Serie D.
