Mason Ho
Mason Ho (born September 1, 1988) is a professional surfer from Sunset Beach on Oahu's North Shore. A member of the Ho surfing dynasty, Mason is the son of professional surfer Michael Ho, brother of Coco Ho, and nephew to World Champion surfer Derek Ho. His father is the second cousin to the famous singer Don Ho. Mason has been sponsored by Rip Curl and Lost surfboards, and is known for his easy-going attitude in interviews. Mason has been frequently dubbed "The World's Most Entertaining Surfer". Mason has won the HIC pro on two occasions and won two surfer poll awards in 2016 - one of which was for the self-produced documentary "License to Chill." Michael Ho (surfer)
Michael Ho (born July 13, 1957) is a Hawaiian Chinese professional surfer who has won the Hawaiian Triple Crown, the Duke Classic, the World Cup, and the 1982 Pipe Masters. He is the brother of Derek Ho, another champion surfer. Michael is also the father of Women's World Tour surfer Coco Ho and Mason Ho - "The World’s Most Entertaining Surfer". Coco Malia Camille Hapaikekoa Ho (born April 28, 1991) is a professional Hawaiian surfer born in Honolulu, Hawaii. She began surfing at 7 years old, following in the footsteps of her family. Early years At age 7, Coco Ho began following in the footsteps of her surfer family. Her father, Michael Ho (surfer), Michael Ho, was formerly a professional surfer (World Cup and 1982 Pipe Masters), as was her uncle, Derek Ho (1993 World Champion). Her brother, Mason Ho (1st Place Cold Water Classic ASP Pro Jr. 2008), played a major role in her early surfing influences. Derek Ho
Derek Ho (September 26, 1964 – July 17, 2020) was a Hawaiian Chinese surfer who won the world surfing championship in 1993. Ho was born in Kailua, Honolulu County, Hawaii. He began surfing at the age of three, and won the world title at age 29, making him the first Native Hawaiian world champion. Derek Ho was the brother of Michael Ho, another champion surfer, and the first cousin of Don Ho, the Hawaiian singer. Donald Tai Loy Ho (; August 13, 1930 – April 14, 2007) was a Hawaiian traditional pop musician, singer, and entertainer. He is best known for the song "Tiny Bubbles" from the 1966 album of the same name. Early life, family and education Ho was a singer of Native Hawaiian, Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch, and German descent. He was born in the small Honolulu neighborhood of Kakaako to Emily (Honey) Leimaile Silva and James Ah You Puao Ho, but he grew up in Kāneohe on the windward side of the island of Oahu.
