Mascom Premier League
The Botswana Premier League is the highest level Association football, football league in Botswana. Organised by the Botswana Football Association, the league was formed in 1978 to replace the pre-independence Bechuanaland Union African Soccer League, which was regional. Participants in the first edition of the league included Tlokweng Pirates, Notwane, Black Peril FC, Black Peril, Queens Park Rangers (Botswana), Queens Park Rangers and a team from Ngwaketse district. The league has always been dominated by the teams that are based south of Dibete or in the southern part of the country. In the 2006–07 season, ECCO City Green, Ecco City Greens made history by becoming the first team from the north to lift the lucrative competition. The league is sponsored by a mobile phone operator Be Mobile to the tune of 30 million pula. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is the administrative and controlling body for association football, beach soccer, and futsal in Africa. Notwane
Notwane FC is a football club from Botswana based in Gaborone. It is named after the Notwane River. Notwane is owned by GMG Global Investments, a subsidiary of GMG Holdings and recently made major scoop by signing former South African international players, former Orlando Pirates player Benedict Vilakazi and former Mamelodi Sundowns player Manqoba Ngwenya History Notwane were founded in 1965 and played in the first season of the Botswana Premier League. They were relegated from the top flight for the first time in 2015. The team sued the Botswana Football Association in 1992 after the BFA allowed Township Rollers a place in the premier league. Tendai Ndoro
Tendai Passion Ndoro (born 15 May 1985) is a Zimbabwean footballer who plays as a centre forward. Club career Ndoro started his career with Chicken Inn of Zimbabwe in 2011. Two years later, Ndoro completed a move to South African club Black Aces but was immediately returned to Chicken Inn on loan for the rest of the 2013 season. In 2014, he officially joined the Black Aces squad and subsequently made 41 appearances and scored 14 goals over two seasons before departing in 2015 to join Orlando Pirates. In the 2017–18 season he appeared for three clubs - Orlando Pirates, Al Faisaly, and Ajax Cape Town, in breach of FIFA regulations. Mandla Sibanda
Mandla is a city with municipality in Mandla district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is the administrative headquarters of Mandla District.
