Masako Izumi
is a Japanese actress and woman adventurer. Izumi joined ''Wakakusa Theatre Company'' and started her acting career as a child actress at the age of11. Three years later, she moved to Nikkatsu Film company and she became one of the three representative actresses of the Nikkatsu called ''Nikkatsu Sannin Musume'' along with Sayuri Yoshinaga and Chieko Matsubara. In 1963, Izumi starred Kirio Urayama's film ''Bad Girl (1963 film), Bad Girl'' and the film won a Golden Prize at the 3rd Moscow International Film Festival. is a trilogy of epic war films directed by Satsuo Yamamoto, based on the novel of the same name by Junpei Gomikawa. The films are subtitled ''Prelude to Destiny'' (1970), ''Land of Love and Sorrow'' (1971), and ''The Final Chapter'' (1973). Part I was also released internationally under the title ''The Battle of Manchuria''. The Snow Flurry (film)

Plot Upon witnessing the bridal procession of Sakura, the granddaughter of the Nagura family, Suteo, a young man of about 18, runs to the river banks, followed by his mother, Haruko, who fears for his life.
