Masaki Tokudome
is a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. He had his best season riding for the Aprilia factory in 1996, when he won four Grand Prix races and finished second in the 125cc world championship behind Haruchika Aoki. Tokudome won five Grand Prix races during his career. He now races in the MFJ All Japan Road Race J-GP2 Championship, aboard a Speed Up. He was the J-GP3 Champion in the class for the first time in 2012, after being runner up on three separate occasions, and again in 2016. 1994 Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing Season
The 1994 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season was the 46th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Season summary 1994 was the year in which Honda's Mick Doohan began to stamp his authority on the Grand Prix world. Honda's Longtime sponsor Rothmans left Honda to join Williams Renault in Formula One. Doohan won 9 races, the most since Giacomo Agostini won 11 in 1972. Kevin Schwantz was injured in a pre-season bicycle crash and raced in 6 races with his arm in plaster. Luca Cadalora took over from Wayne Rainey on the Yamaha and won two races. Aprilia began campaigning in the 500cc class with a 250 V twin motor enlarged to 380cc in hopes of using its lighter weight and nimble handling as an advantage. Haruchika Aoki
is a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. He was a two-time F.I.M. 125cc world champion. He is the youngest of three Aoki brothers who have competed in motorcycle Grand Prix races. Aoki began his Grand Prix career in 1993 with Honda. He won two consecutive 125cc world championships in 1995 and 1996 with Honda before moving up to the 250cc class in 1997. After two years in the 250cc class, Aoki made the move to the 500cc class in 1999. In , he competed in the Superbike World Championship on a Ducati before returning to Grand Prix racing in 2001. Racing a V-twin, two-stroke Honda NSR500V, he finished the season as the top privateer. He almost pulled off an upset that year when he "won" the second half of the restarted Italian Grand Prix in torrential rain, but the race was decided on aggregate times from the first and second parts, meaning he was classified only fifth. Honda NSF250R
The Honda NSF250R is a four-stroke race motorcycle from HRC (Honda Racing Corporation) developed in 2011 to replace the outgoing two-stroke Honda RS125R. Honda's NSF250R joined the newly-created Moto3 World Championship in 2012. An updated model, the NSF250RW was introduced in 2014, and won the constructors' title for the first time in 2015. Yamaha TZR250
The Yamaha TZR250 is a motorcycle manufactured and produced by the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Yamaha between 1986 and 1995. Yamaha produced the road going two-stroke motorcycle, loosely based on the TZ250 Yamaha racing bike. Parallel-twin, reverse cylinder and finally 90° V-twin variants were produced. It evolved as a natural replacement for the popular RD 250/Yamaha RD350LC series of the 1980s. It has the Yamaha Power Valve System 'YPVS' which raises and lowers the exhaust port depending on the rpm of the engine. The YPVS servo motor starts to open at about 6,000rpm. In standard form it produced 45 hp due to the restrictive standard exhausts and ignition boxes. The Yamaha TZR125 is a two-stroke engine, two-stroke sports motorcycle made for the European and South East Asian markets which uses the Two-stroke power valve system#YPVS-Yamaha Power Valve System, YPVS. The TZR125 was produced from 1987 and spanned two generations until the late 1990s each with a number of variants and sub variants. The Yamaha TZR125 can be seen in Wong Kar-wai, Wong Kar-Wai’s Fallen Angels (1995 film), Fallen Angels where actor and singer Takeshi Kaneshiro drives it. First generation Yamaha introduced the TZR125 in 1987 and production ended in 1992. The Aprilia RS 125 is a race motorcycle manufactured by Aprilia to race in the Grand Prix motorcycle World Championship, built to replace the old Aprilia AF1. It was debuted in , and it had many upgrades since. The bike won ten World Championship (one rebranded as Derbi and one as Gilera). In 1991 the original tank was 12 liters, which became 13 in 1994 and 14 in 1995; the original carburator was a Dell'Orto VHSB 39, which was upgraded to a Dell'Orto VHSD 41 in 1996 and to a Dell'Orto VHSG 42 in 2006.
