Maryon Eilertsen
Maryon Eilertsen (9 January 1950 – 24 January 2015) was a Norwegian actress and theatre director. She was born in Svolvær. She was educated at the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre, and was assigned with Hålogaland Teater for the most of her career, from 1977. From 1993 to 1995 she was theatre director at Haugesund Teater. She participated in the films ''Bobby's War'' (1974), as "Sissel" in Erik Solbakken's 1976 film '' Vårnatt'' based on a book by Tarjei Vesaas, in ''Karjolsteinen'' (1977), ''Etterbyrden'' (1984), ''Brekk'' (2007), and in some episodes of the television drama series ''Himmelblå ''Himmelblå'' (in English: ''Blue sky'') was a Norwegian drama series that aired on NRK1 in Norway, on SVT in Sweden and on RÚV in Iceland. ''Vårnatt'' (Spring Night) is a Norwegian film from 1976 directed by Erik Solbakken. Solbakken also wrote the script, which was based on Tarjei Vesaas's 1954 novel ''Spring Night''. Olav Dalgard was the script consultant. ''Vårnatt'' premiered on February 26, 1976. Plot Hallstein and Sissel live together with their parents in a small village. One spring night they will be left alone at home for the first time while their parents are at a funeral in another village. There is a warm familiarity between them and they are looking forward to being at home. However, when they are about to eat supper, there is a knock on the door. Svolvær () is the administrative centre of Vågan Municipality in Nordland County, Norway. It is located on the island of Austvågøya in the Lofoten archipelago, along the Vestfjorden. Tarjei Vesaas
Tarjei Vesaas (20 August 1897 – 15 March 1970) was a Norwegian poet and novelist. Vesaas is widely considered to be one of Norway's greatest writers of the twentieth century and perhaps its most important since World War II. Biography Vesaas was born in Vinje, Telemark, Norway to Olav Vesaas (1870–1951), a farmer and Signe Øygarden (1870-1953), a teacher. He was the oldest of three sons. He was guilt-ridden by his refusal to take over the family farm, and this guilt permeates much of his authorship. He spent much of his youth in solitude, seeking comfort and solace in nature. He married the writer Halldis Moren Vesaas (the daughter of Sven Moren and the sister of Sigmund Moren) and moved to Midtbø in his home district of Vinje in 1934.
