Maryam Ebrahimi (born May 28, 1976) is a Swedish Iranian journalist, documentary filmmaker, producer and director. Biography Ebrahimi was born in Tehran, Iran on May 28, 1976. She is a journalist and TV producer based in Sweden. She has made several reports around the world, especially in Middle East. Maryam is well known for her documentaries broadcast on international TV channels. Her documentary '' No Burqas Behind Bars'' shot in Afghanistan won an international Emmy Award in 2014. Biography Nima Sarvestani (born December 22, 1958) is a Swedish Iranian documentary filmmaker. Born in Shiraz, Iran, Sarvestani worked as a journalist in Iran for several years reporting on social and political issues. In 1984 Sarvestani left his homeland and immigrated to Sweden. Despite changing his perspective forever, he has remained faithful to the subjects that interested him as a journalist in Iran. In 1988, he founded his own production company in Stockholm called Nima Film Productions, which allows him to oversee the entire process when making his own films.
