Marvin Ogunsipe (born February 26, 1996) is an Austrian professional basketball player for Força Lleida, of the Spanish second division LEB Oro. He has held German citizenship since 2018. Professional career Before signing with Bayern Munich in 2014, Ogunsipe played with Vienna DC Timberwolves. Ogunsipe made his debut for Bayern on February 12, 2017, in a 56–80 win against Alba Berlin in which he scored 2 points. Ogunsipe was sent on loan to the Hamburg Towers for the 2019–20 season. On May 11, 2020, he was loaned to Crailsheim Merlins for 2019–20 season playoffs. The power forward (PF), also known as the four or strong forward, is a position in basketball. Power forwards play a role similar to centers. When on offense, they typically play with their backs towards the basket. The 2019–20 Basketball Bundesliga, known as the easyCredit BBL for sponsorship reasons, was the 54th season of the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL), the top-tier level of professional club basketball in Germany, held from 24 September 2019 to 28 June 2020. The defending champion was Bayern Munich. Alba Berlin won the final tournament and their ninth title. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the league postponed matchday 23 and monitored the situation. On 25 March, the league was suspended until 30 April. The season was finished with ten teams playing at a neutral venue. The Liga Española de Baloncesto, also known as LEB Oro, is the second basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system after the Liga ACB. It is run by the FEB. The Liga Española de Baloncesto is divided into two categories (the other one is the LEB Plata). The LEB league was founded in 1996 and is played under FIBA rules. It was renamed LEB Oro in 2007. The league is contested by 18 clubs. Each season, the top-finishing team in the LEB Oro are automatically promoted to the Liga ACB.
