A semiconductor is a material with electrical conductivity between that of a conductor and an insulator. Its conductivity can be modified by adding impurities (" doping") to its crystal structure. Aquantia Corporation was a manufacturer of high-speed transceivers. In 2004, Aquantia Corporation was founded and first made products for Data Center connectivity, and in 2013 announced the world's first integrated 10GBASE-T MAC/PHY for servers.
