''Marvel 1985'' (written on the cover as simply ''1985'') is a six-issue American comic book limited series, published in 2008 by Marvel Comics. It was written by Mark Millar and illustrated by Tommy Lee Edwards. The comic's premise is that heroes and villains from the Marvel Universe show up in the real world, thanks to a malevolent mutant boy with reality warping powers. Plot Issue 1 A boy named Toby Goodman recently started reading ''Secret Wars'' comics. His parents are divorced, he is ostracized by his classmates and doesn't have many friends. Toby is seen walking home with his father Jerry Goodman, when he thinks that he sees the Red Skull in the window of a house. Toby is reluctant to tell anyone about his discovery, but then he sees the Vulture on the television. Clyde Wyncham
Clyde Wyncham is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Jim Cheung
Jim Cheung ( ; born 1972) is a British comic book artist, known for his work on the series such as ''Scion (comics), Scion'', ''New Avengers: Illuminati'', ''Young Avengers'' and ''Avengers: The Children's Crusade''. He co-created the Marvel superhero team the Young Avengers, including its members: Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), Kate Bishop, Hulkling, Iron Lad, Patriot (Eli Bradley), Speed (character), Speed, and Wiccan (character), Wiccan.
