Martine Fougeron
Martine Fougeron is a French-American photographer based in New York City. Her work has been exhibited and published extensively, and collected by numerous major museums including the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Bronx Museum of the Arts. Fougeron has published one monograph to date: ''Nicolas et Adrien A World with Two Sons'', published by Steidl in 2019. Life and career Martine Fougeron was born in Paris, France in 1954. She relocated to the United States as a child with her family, but spent her high school years in a boarding school near Paris, thereafter transitioning back and forth between France and the United States. As a teenager, she attended the Lycée Français de New York and the French boarding school l'Institut Saint Dominique. The Lycée Français de New York (LFNY), commonly called the Lycée (in English, "The French High School of New York"), is an independent bilingual French school serving an international community of students from Nursery-3 to twelfth grade based in Manhattan, New York City.
