Martina Repiská
Martina Repiská (; born 21 October 1995) is a Slovak badminton player. In 2021 she became the third Slovak badminton player to take part in the Summer Olympics, as well as the first from her country to win a match in Olympic competition. Career Repiská started playing badminton at the age of nine in her hometown, then playing competitively in junior international tournaments when she was twelve. She became a member of the national team in 2012, and won her first international title at the 2017 Morocco International tournament. Repiská competed at the 2019 European Games in Minsk. In her first match in the women's singles, Repiská beat Ieva Pope of Latvia. After losing her second group match, she defeated Czech Kateřina Tomalová to finish the group with a record of two wins and a loss, which was enough to advance to the knockout stages of the competition. Zvolen
Zvolen (; ; ) is a city in central Slovakia, situated on the confluence of Hron and Slatina rivers. It is famous for several historical and cultural attractions. Jeanine Cicognini (born 14 November 1986) is a Swiss badminton player who now represents Italy. Cicognini won her first Swiss senior title at age 16 and has since won the award seven more times. Biography In 2005, she won the silver medal at the European Junior Badminton Championships in the girls' singles event. Cicognini became a badminton professional as soon as she left school. She soon moved to Denmark, and then moved to the International Badminton Federation's training centre in Saarbrücken, Germany. In 2010, she returned to Switzerland and joined the sport army, where she played for the BC Uzwil. She later moved to Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany and played for the 1.BV Mülheim in the first bundesliga. Bahaedeen Ahmad Alshannik (born 18 July 1997) is a Jordanian badminton player. He was the mixed doubles runner-up at the Morocco International tournament in 2014 and 2015, and also men's doubles runner-up in 2015.
