Martin Stoll (curler)
Martin Stoll (born 9 February 1983) is a retired German footballer who played as a centre-back. He is currently the U16 manager of Karlsruher SC. Career Stoll's first club was VfB Breitenbronn, but as Breitenbronn had no youth teams, Stoll had to play for SV Aglasterhausen's youth team, while still belonging to the club Breitenbronn. In the summer of 1995, Stoll moved for three years to SV Sandhausen. In July 1998, Stoll joined Karlsruher SC II. After two years with Karlsruher SC II, in July 2000, he signed a contract with VfB Stuttgart II, before he returned to KSC in the summer of 2002. On 16 June 2009, he left Karlsruher SC and signed a three-year contract with Axpo Super League club FC Aarau. After just one season in Switzerland, Stoll returned to Germany with 3. Karlsruher SC
Karlsruher SC is a German association football club, based in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg that currently plays in the 2. Bundesliga, the second tier of German football. Domestically, the club was crowned German champion in 1909, and won the DFB-Pokal in 1955 and 1956. In Europe, KSC won the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 1996, which remains the club's last major honor. Formed as Karlsruher Fussball Club Phönix in 1894, the modern form of the club was formed as the result of several mergers in 1952, and its early success granted KSC a spot in the inaugural Bundesliga season in 1963. KSC spent the next few decades as a yo-yo club frequently being promoted and relegated between the top two divisions, with their best Bundesliga season coming in 1996 when KSC finished 6th in the table.
