He was a right-foot kick who baulked and turned well, and had all the requirements of a top-class rover. Cross was 20th man in the 1962 Carlton Grand Final team, that was beaten by Essendon by 32 points. The Ovens and Murray Football Netball League (O&MFNL) is an Australian rules football and netball competition containing ten clubs based in north-eastern Victoria, the southern Riverina region of New South Wales and the Ovens and Murray area. The name comes from the Ovens River, the river in the part of north-eastern Victoria covered by the league, and the Murray River, which separates Victoria and New South Wales. The league features three grades in the Australian rules football competition, with these being First-Grade, Reserve-Grade and Under 18s. In the netball competition, there are four grades, with these being A-Grade, B-Grade, C-Grade and Under 16s. Currently a home and away season consisting of eighteen rounds is played. Myrtleford Football Club
The Myrtleford Alpine Saints Football Netball Club, is an Australian rules football and netball club based in the town of Myrtleford, in north east Victoria on the Ovens River. The football and netball squads play in the Ovens & Murray Football League (OMFL). Myrtleford was initiated into the Ovens District Football Association in 1895, which later became the Bright Shire Football Association in 1900. The club joined the OMFL in 1950. Myrtleford's only premiership triumph was against Wangaratta Rovers in 1970. The Saints were runners-up in 2001, 2005 and 2006. The North Albury Football Netball Club, nicknamed the ''Hoppers'', is an Australian rules football and netball club playing in the Ovens & Murray Football League (O&MFL). They are incorporated as part of the North Albury Sports Club licensed club at Bunton Park in North Albury, Albury, where they play their home matches. The club has won six O&MFL premierships. The Hoppers currently play in forest green guernseys with a gold vee and the "Hopper" logo on the right side. Ben Hollands (born 12 January 1978) is an Australian rules footballer who played with Richmond in the Australian Football League (AFL). AFL career Hollands, who played in the 1995 Teal Cup for New South Wales, was initially recruited by the Sydney Swans, from his club North Albury. He played only reserves football for Sydney. In 1998, Richmond added Hollands to their rookie list and the following year he was promoted to the senior list, playing eight AFL games that season. His most memorable game was a one-point win over Fremantle at Subiaco Oval, as Hollands kicked the winning goal, with just seconds remaining. He was rookie listed by Port Adelaide in 2001 but didn't make any AFL appearances for the club. SANFL Hollands played 101 games for West Adelaide in the SANFL from 2000 to 2008. Elijah Hollands is an Australian rules footballer playing for the Gold Coast Suns in the Australian Football League. Early life Hollands was born in Adelaide, South Australia. His father, Ben, was a professional Australian rules footballer who played 8 AFL games for Richmond in 1999 as well as spending years on Sydney and Port Adelaide's AFL lists. Hollands lived the first nine years of his life in Adelaide before relocating to Wodonga on the Victoria-New South Wales border.
