Martijn Krabbé
Martijn Joop Krabbé (born 26 March 1968) is a Dutch radio and television presenter. Career Krabbé started his career in Dutch media as a 19-year-old in the Dutch TV programme "Popformule". Later he hosted several Dutch television programmes such as ''Idols (Netherlands), Idols'' (the Dutch version of ''Pop Idol'') and the Dutch version of The X Factor (Netherlands), ''The X Factor'', ''Dancing on Ice (Netherlands and Belgium), Dancing on Ice'' and ''The Voice of Holland''. In June 2025, Krabbé received the Media Oeuvre Award. Personal life His father is actor and director Jeroen Krabbé. He was married twice to Amanda Beekman; from 1995 to 1999 and from 2005 to 2014. They have two sons and two daughters. He is a nephew of Tim Krabbé. On March 5, 2024 Krabbé posted on his social media that he was diagnosed with cancer. ''The Voice Kids'' is a Dutch talent show produced by Talpa and broadcast on RTL 4 since January 27, 2012. It was hosted by Martijn Krabbé and Wendy van Dijk in seasons 1 to 8. From season 9 to 10, it was hosted by Martijn Krabbé and Jamai Loman. In season 11, it will be hosted by Loman and Quinty Misiedjan. ''Idols'' was a television show on the Netherlands, Dutch television network RTL 4, which is part of the Idols (TV series), Idols series based on the popular United Kingdom, British show ''Pop Idol''. The show is a contest to determine the best young singer in the Netherlands. The show is divided in two sections, the first being the audition round, an open audition where everyone who wants to try is allowed to sing.
