Marti Buckley is an American author, journalist, and culinary writer known for her work on Basque and Spanish cuisine. She is the author of ''Basque Country'' and ''The Book of Pintxos'', and the host of the documentary series ''Rioja Paired''. Early Life and Education Buckley was born in Montgomery, Alabama, and raised across the southern United States. She graduated from Homewood High School in 2002 and earned a bachelor's degree in English from Louisiana State University in 2006. During her undergraduate studies, she spent a semester abroad in Pamplona, Spain. Career Buckley began her professional career at ''Southern Living'' magazine and later worked as a line cook under chef Frank Stitt in Birmingham, Alabama. Philip Rosenthal (born January 27, 1960) is an American television writer and producer who is the creator, writer, and executive producer of the CBS sitcom ''Everybody Loves Raymond'' (1996–2005). In recent years, he has presented food and travel documentaries ''I'll Have What Phil's Having'' on PBS and ''Somebody Feed Phil'' on Netflix.
