Marshall Warren
Marshall Warren (born April 20, 2001) is an American professional ice hockey player for the Bridgeport Islanders of the American Hockey League (AHL), as a prospect for the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League (NHL). He played college ice hockey at Boston College and Michigan. Early life Warren was born to Lewis and Lisa Warren. He began figure skating at three years old before transitioning to ice hockey. His sister, Arielle, was a figure skater at Boston University. Playing career Junior Warren spent two seasons with the USA Hockey National Team Development Program (USNTDP). During the 2017–18 season, he recorded eight goals and 22 assists 60 games for the under-17 team. During the 2018–19 season, he recorded eight goals and 26 assists in 58 games, for the under-18 team. The 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season began on October 6, 2023, and concluded with the NCAA championship on April 13, 2024. This was the 76th season in which an NCAA ice hockey championship is being held, and is US college hockey's 130th year overall. Conference realignment After Robert Morris suspended its program in the summer of 2021, a successful fundraising campaign allowed the team to return for this season. The program rejoined Atlantic Hockey, bringing the number of conference members back up to 11. The same summer, Augustana University proceeded with plans to promote its athletic department to Division I. The NCAA transfer portal is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) application, database, and compliance tool created to manage and facilitate the process for student athletes seeking to transfer between member institutions. It is intended to bring greater transparency to the transfer process and to enable student athletes to publicize their desire to transfer. The transfer portal is an NCAA-wide database covering all three NCAA divisions, although most media coverage of the transfer portal involves its use in the top-level DivisionI (D-I). Marc McLaughlin
Marc McLaughlin (born July 26, 1999) is an American professional ice hockey center for the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL). He played college ice hockey with Boston College, where he was captain for his junior and senior seasons. He was a member of United States national team at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Playing career Collegiate McLaughlin was a fairly unheralded player when he debuted for Boston College in the fall of 2018. As a freshman, he provided minimal offense for an underwhelming squad that finished the year with the program's first losing record in over 20 years. The 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season began on November 14, 2020, and concluded with the Frozen Four on April 10, 2021. Due to the cancellation of the previous year's tournament due to COVID-19 pandemic, this was the 73rd season in which an NCAA ice hockey championship was held, and was US college hockey's 127th year overall. Due to concerns related to the pandemic, the start of the season was delayed until what would have normally been the 8th week of play. The Wisconsin Badgers men's ice hockey team is the college ice hockey team that represents the University of Wisconsin–Madison in Madison, Wisconsin. The team plays at the Kohl Center and is currently coached by Mike Hastings (ice hockey), Mike Hastings. The Badgers ice hockey team competes in the Big Ten Conference.
