	Marshall Lewy Marshall Lewy is the chief content officer of Wondery and Amazon Music. As such, he serves as a non-writing executive producer on a number of Wondery's podcasts. Previously, he was a partner at Adaptive Studios, a Hollywood company that acquired scripts that were tabled by larger studios and then attempted to produce them, with some success. Lewy was also the director of the 2012 film ''California Solo,'' which premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, and the 2007 film ''Blue State (film), Blue State''. It made its world premiere at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, and its international premiere at the 2012 Edinburgh Film Festival. The film was acquired by Strand Releasing for the U.S., and was given a limited theatrical release on November 30, 2012. Plot Robert Carlyle plays Lachlan MacAldonich, a former Britpop rocker-turned-agricultural worker, who gets caught driving drunk and faces deportation after living in Los Angeles for 12 years. 	Blue State (film) ''Blue State'' is a 2007 Canadian/American romantic comedy film directed by Marshall Lewy and starring Breckin Meyer and Anna Paquin (who was also the film's executive producer). The film was the first effort of Paquin in an executive role. Plot John Logue, a dedicated John Kerry campaigner in the 2004 election, makes a drunken campaign vow to move to Canada if George W. Bush is re-elected. When Bush indeed wins again, John finds his employer and his friends took his public vow seriously and he can not help but stay true to his word.
