Marshall Ayub
Marshall Ayub (born 5 December 1988) is a Bangladeshi cricketer who represents Dhaka Metropolis and the Chittagong Kings. An all-rounder, he bowls right-arm leg spin, and bats right-handed. He began his career representing Barisal Division in 2005–06 before moving on to play for Dhaka Division for the 2006–07 season and Dhaka Metropolis in 2011. Ayub has also represented the Bangladesh A side and played for Cyclones of Chittagong, Khulna Royal Bengals and Chittagong Kings in the now defunct Bangladesh National Cricket League and the Bangladesh Premier League respectively. Ayub was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. In December 2005, he made his debut for Barisal Division in a List A match against Khulna, and subsequently making his first-class debut against the same side. The 2010 National Cricket League Twenty20 ( bn, ন্যাশনাল ক্রিকেট লীগ ) tournament in Bangladesh (abbreviated as NCL 1 2010 or the NCL T20 2010), played in April 2010, was the sole edition of a now-defunct Twenty20 league involving the teams in the National Cricket League (NCL). The tournament was initiated by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). It included six teams representing the divisions of Bangladesh. It was a limited success and has effectively been replaced by the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League
The 2018–19 BPL season, also known as BPL 6 or UCB BPL 2019 Powered by TVS (for sponsorship reasons), was the sixth season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the top level professional Twenty20 cricket franchise league in Bangladesh. The competition was organised by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), featuring seven teams from seven cities. Teams are restricted to having four overseas players per side, instead of five in the previous edition of the tournament. Rangpur Riders were the defending champions. Originally, the season was scheduled to start on 1 October 2018 and end on 16 November 2018. However, in May 2018, it was reported that the tournament might be moved to January 2019, because of security concerns around the Bangladeshi general election, which took place in December 2018. Rajshahi Royals (Varendri/ bn, রাজশাহী রয়্যালস) were a Bangladeshi franchise Twenty20 cricket team. The team was based in Rajshahi in Bangladesh and competes in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), a Twenty20 franchise cricket competition.
