Marshal Baghramyan Training Unit
The Marshal Baghramyan Training Unit () is a military unit of the Armed Forces of Armenia subordinate to the Ministry of Defence of Armenia. Named after the Marshal of the Soviet Union of Armenian origin Ivan Bagramyan, the unit is responsible for the training of servicemen in the armed forces. The current head is Colonel Arthur Baghramyan. Duties According to the former commander, Colonel Gevorg Yenokyan, "commanders, operators, military mechanics are being trained in the military unit, who after training will later serve in other military units of the republic". Within the framework of the final exams, the theoretical and practical knowledge of the cadets is tested individually. Ivan Khristoforovich Bagramyan,; russian: Ива́н Христофо́рович Баграмя́н, link=no also known as Hovhannes Khachaturi Baghramyan; russian: Оване́с Хачату́рович Баграмя́н, link=no ( – 21 September 1982), was a Soviet military commander and Marshal of the Soviet Union of Armenian origin. During World War II Bagramyan was the second non- Slavic military officer, after Latvian Max Reyter, to become a commander of a Front. United Group Of Forces
The United Group of Forces (; ) is a joint unit with the Armed Forces of Armenia and the Russian Armed Forces. It is composed of management bodies and units and formations of both militaries: the Russian 102nd Military Base and the Armenian Army's 5th Army Corps. It is currently deployed at the Russian Military Base in Gyumri. Purpose It is designed to provide military security in the Caucasus region, particularly the Nagorno-Karabakh region. Training And Education Center Of The Armed Forces
The Training and Education Center of the Armed Forces (TEC) () is a training establishment of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. It was established in accordance with the protocol which was signed between Azerbaijan and the Turkish Armed Forces on 5 April 2000 and decree of Azerbaijani Minister of Defense Safar Abiyev on 20 February. The TEC was opened on 26 March 2001 on the basis of advanced officers and reserve officers courses in order to facilitate the application of NATO standards in Azerbaijan Armed Forces. Sachkhere Mountain Training School
The Sachkhere Mountain Training School ( ka, საჩხერის სამთო მომზადების სკოლა) is a mountain warfare training facility in Georgia, located near the town of Sachkhere in the west of the country. Established on 14 August 2006, it is operated by the Joint Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces Military Training and Education Command. The Sachkhere Mountain Training School was created on the basis of the 16th Mountain Battalion, whose predecessor, the Sachkhere Battalion, was one of the first National Guard units established in Georgia during its struggle for independence from the Soviet Union in 1991.
