Marradi () is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Florence in the Italy, Italian region Tuscany, located about northeast of Florence at the borders with the Emilia-Romagna region. Marradi borders the following municipalities: Borgo San Lorenzo, Brisighella, Dicomano, Modigliana, Palazzuolo sul Senio, Portico e San Benedetto, San Godenzo, Tredozio, Vicchio. On 1st of July 2023 the 2nd stage of the 2023 Giro Donne finished at Marradi. Dino Campana
Dino Campana (20 August 1885 – 1 March 1932) was an Italian visionary poet. His fame rests on his only published book of poetry, the '' Canti Orfici'' ("Orphic Songs"), as well as his wild and erratic personality, including his ill-fated love affair with Sibilla Aleramo. He is often seen as an Italian example of a poète maudit. Life Campana was born near Faenza in the small town of Marradi, which is found in the Apennines along the border between the regions of Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany. His father Giovanni, who was always affectionate and understanding with Dino, was an elementary school principal, and forthright member of the community, but had a weak and neurotic character. Vincenzo Castaldi
Vincenzo Castaldi (15 May 1916, Marradi – 6 January 1970, Florence) was an Italian chess master. He won the Italian Chess Championship seven times, (1936, 1937, 1947 (jointly), 1948, 1952 (jointly), 1953, and 1959), and was an Italian correspondence chess champion in 1956. Castaldi represented Italy on first board in the 7th Chess Olympiad at Stockholm 1937 and 9th Chess Olympiad at Dubrovnik 1950. Serafino Razzi

2023 Giro Donne
The 2023 Giro Donne was the 34th edition of the Giro Donne, a women's road cycling stage race that took place in Italy. The race began on the 30 June and ended on 9 July 2023. It was the 20th race in the 2023 UCI Women's World Tour calendar. The race was won by Annemiek van Vleuten of Movistar Team for the fourth time, beating Juliette Labous by nearly four minutes. Van Vleuten also won the points and mountains classifications, with Gaia Realini winning the youth classification and the Italian rider classification. Teams 24 teams participated in the race.
