Marol Naka Metro Station
Marol Naka is an interchange metro station serving the Marol neighbourhood of Andheri in Mumbai, India. Elevated station serves for the East-West Corridor of the Line 1 (Mumbai Metro), Blue Line 1 of Mumbai Metro. It was opened to the public on 8 June 2014. The Underground station serves for the North-South Corridor of the Line 3 (Mumbai Metro), Aqua Line 3 of Mumbai Metro. It was opened to public on 7 October 2024. Upon the metro line being commissioned for passengers, the BEST launched a special bus service Metro Pheri 1 which brings commuters from a distance to the closest of the 3 metro stations it serves. Marol
Marol is a locality in the suburb of Andheri (East) in Mumbai, India. History The area has been inhabited for centuries, successively coming under both Portugal, Portuguese and United Kingdom, British rule. Geography Marol consists of the areas Marol village, Marol Naka, Marol Pipeline, Marol Depot, Marol Maroshi, Military Road, Bhavaninagar, Vijay Nagar, Marol Police Camp, parts of JB Nagar and parts of Marol MIDC. MMRDA
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is a body of the Government of Maharashtra that is responsible for preparation oRegional Plan for MMRand the infrastructure development of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Versova is the elevated western terminal metro station on the East-West Corridor of the Blue Line 1 of Mumbai Metro serving the Seven Bungalows, Yari Road and Versova neighbourhoods of Andheri in Mumbai, India.
