Marlow FM 97.5 is a community radio station serving Marlow, Buckinghamshire in the United Kingdom. Marlow FM currently broadcasts on a Community Radio licence and has done so since May 11, 2011, while the station previously broadcast as a webcast for four years and trialled a Restricted Service Licence before being licensed to use FM in 2007 and again in 2009. The station may currently be hearonlineand by tuning to 97.5 FM from within in th Management The station is run by MarlowFM Ltd, a not-for-profit private limited company, with directors boardconsisting of seven directors and an Operations Group who collectively oversee the day-to-day management of the station. Marlow (; historically Great Marlow or Chipping Marlow) is a town and civil parish within the Unitary Authority of Buckinghamshire, England. It is located on the River Thames, south-southwest of High Wycombe, west-northwest of Maidenhead and west of central London. Name The name is recorded in 1015 as ''Mere lafan'', meaning "Land left after the draining of a pond" in Old English. From Norman times the manor, parish, and later borough were formally known as Great Marlow, distinguishing them from Little Marlow.
