Marlon Anthony Patterson (born 24 June 1983) is an English association football, footballer who plays for Southern Counties East side Beckenham Town F.C., Beckenham Town. He plays primarily as a left-back Career Born in London, Patterson played for the Millwall F.C., Millwall and Chelsea F.C., Chelsea youth systems. Patterson signed for Dulwich Hamlet F.C., Dulwich Hamlet in December 2004 following periods with Fisher Athletic F.C., Fisher Athletic and Carshalton Athletic F.C., Carshalton Athletic. The National League South, formerly Conference South, is one of the second divisions of the National League in England, immediately below the top division National League. The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. In sports, a loan involves a particular player being able to temporarily play for a club other than the one to which they are currently contracted. Loan deals may last from a few weeks to a full season, sometimes persisting for multiple seasons at a time. A loan fee can be arranged by the parent club as well as them asking to pay a percentage of their wages. Association football Players may be loaned out to other clubs for several reasons. Most commonly, young prospects will be loaned to a club in a lower league in order to gain invaluable first team experience. The 2007–08 season was the 128th season of competitive football in England. Club football European competitions In October 2007, Arsenal equalled the UEFA Champions League record victory with a 7–0 win over Slavia Prague at the Emirates Stadium. The record was broken the following month when Liverpool defeated Beşiktaş 8–0 at Anfield.
