Markus Schubert
Markus Schubert (born 12 June 1998) is a German professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club SC Paderborn. Club career Dynamo Dresden Starting in 2015–16, Schubert joined the main Dynamo Dresden squad, becoming the youngest active player in the club's history after debuting in a game against Preußen Münster on 28 November 2015. He was made Dresden's main goalkeeper in 2018–19, appearing full-time in all league matches except for the last three. The decision to not field Schubert in those matches was made by then-coach Cristian Fiel in an effort to "protect" him from hostile behaviour directed at him by supporters, following the announcement of his departure from the club. Schalke 04 On 5 July 2019, Schubert joined Schalke 04 on a four-year contract. The 2015–16 Dynamo Dresden season was the 66th season in the club's history and their second consecutive season in the 3. Liga. Review July/August The opening match of the season took place on 25 July 2015. Dynamo Dresden defeated VfB Stuttgart II 4–1. Dresden got two goals from Justin Eilers and a goal each from Aias Aosman and Tim Väyrynen. Matthias Zimmermann scored for Stuttgart II. Dynamo Dresden finished the matchday in second place. Frederik Riis Rønnow (; born 4 August 1992) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Bundesliga club Union Berlin, and previously for the Denmark national team. Club career Horsens Rønnow started his career as a youth player at Horsens club Stensballe IK before he at the age of 16 years joined AC Horsens. Ralf Fährmann
Ralf Fährmann (; born 27 September 1988) is a German professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. Club career Fährmann made his professional debut for Schalke 04 on 13 September 2008 in 3–3 draw away to Borussia Dortmund. On 16 September 2008, he played his first international match, against APOEL in a UEFA Cup tie. At the end of the 2008–09 season, he left Schalke and moved to Eintracht Frankfurt on free transfer, signing a contract valid to 30 June 2012. Fährmann returned to Schalke in 2011 after the team sold Manuel Neuer to Bayern Munich. In the 2011 DFL-Supercup, Fährmann was named Man of the Match. David Wagner (born 19 October 1971) is a professional football manager and former player who was most recently the manager of EFL Championship club Norwich City. Wagner grew up in West Germany. He made his professional debut with Eintracht Frankfurt in 1990 and played as a striker for several clubs in the first and second division of German football. The 2020–21 FC Schalke 04 season was the 117th season in the football club's history and 30th consecutive and 53rd overall season in the top flight of German football, the Bundesliga, having been promoted from the 2. Alexander Nübel (born 30 September 1996) is a German professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club VfB Stuttgart, on loan from Bayern Munich. He also plays for the Germany national team.
