Mark Weidemaier
Mark Peter Weidemaier (born January 17, 1955) is an American baseball manager for the Bismarck Larks of the Northwoods League. He was formerly a member of the Washington Nationals coaching staff and has also served as a scout during his baseball career. Early years Weidemaier attended Upper Arlington High School in Upper Arlington, Ohio, graduating as a two sport letterman (basketball and baseball) in 1973. He played college baseball for Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, where he was twice selected to the All West Tennessee College All Star Team as named by ''The Jackson Sun''. In 2022, Weidemaier was inducted into Union University's Sports Hall of Fame. He then served as an assistant coach for the Ohio State Buckeyes baseball team while he attended Ohio State University, earning a master's degree in Sports Administration. The Ohio State Buckeyes baseball team is the college baseball team of Ohio State University. The program, founded in 1881, was the first athletic team in Ohio State history. Juan Castro
Juan Gabriel Castro (born June 20, 1972), is a Mexican professional baseball coach and former infielder, who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Minnesota Twins, Baltimore Orioles, and Philadelphia Phillies, during his 17-year big league career. Castro was known mainly for his defensive abilities. He was primarily a reserve player. Castro batted and threw right-handed. Jocotitlán
Jocotitlán is a municipality located in the northwestern part of the State of Mexico on the central highlands of the country of Mexico. The municipal seat is the town of Jocotitlán and is located at the foot of the Jocotitlán or Xocotépetl volcano, while most of the rest of the municipality is in the Ixtlahuaca Valley. The Pastejé Baseball Academy, commonly known as Pastejé, was a baseball academy located in Jocotitlán, State of Mexico, Mexico. The academy was founded in 1981 by Alejo Peralta, owner of the Mexican League team Tigres de México in association with the league to train players for the entire Mexican League. The academy closed in 1992 and is now abandoned and in ruins. Carl Harrison "Stump" Merrill (born February 15, 1944) is an American former manager in Major League Baseball (MLB). Merrill spent 38 years in the New York Yankees organization, including and as the manager of the Yankees, and he also managed several of the Yankees' minor league affiliates. The Mexican Pacific League (, or LMP), also known as the Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico for sponsorship reasons, is a professional baseball Winter league baseball, winter league based in Northwestern Mexico.
