Mark Protheroe
Mark Protheroe (born 5 March 1971) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s. He played most of his career at the Eastern Suburbs Roosters, but he also played for South Queensland Crushers. He started his career on the , but he later shifted to the forwards playing mostly in the . Playing career A Brisbane junior, Protheroe started his rugby league career in 1990 playing for QRL side Redcliffe Dolphins in the Brisbane competition. In 1991, Protheroe along with Redcliffe coach Mark Murray were signed by the Eastern Suburbs Roosters. Protheroe made his first grade debut in his sides' 16-10 loss to arch rivals the South Sydney Rabbitohs at the Sydney Football Stadium in the opening round of the 1991 season. Adrian Brunker (born 23 September 1970) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s. He played at representative level for Queensland, and at club level for Newcastle Knights, Gold Coast Seagulls, St George Dragons and Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, as a . Playing career Brunker made his first grade debut for Newcastle in round 4 of the 1990 NSWRL season against Penrith in a 6–6 draw. Wests Panthers
The Western Suburbs Panthers, or the West Brisbane Panthers, or often simply referred to as Wests for short, is a semi professional rugby league club based in the western suburbs of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The club is the oldest in the QRL and despite absences from the top grade in recent years and several name changes the club continued to operate. After leaving the Queensland Cup, they participated in the Brisbane A-Grade competition from 2005 until their senior sides disbanding in 2012. Trevor Gillmeister (born 13 March 1964) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who is employed as a rugby league analyst at Channel 7 Brisbane. During his playing days, Gillmeister played for the Eastern Suburbs Roosters, Brisbane Broncos, Penrith Panthers and the South Queensland Crushers, as well as representing Queensland and Australia. Terry Cook is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played as a and forward in the 1990s. He played for the Gold Coast Seagulls and South Queensland Crushers in the NRL, and represented Queensland Maroons, Queensland in 1995. Graham Mackay (born 12 October 1968) is a former international and state representative rugby league footballer whose club career spanned ten Australian and English clubs, including Western Suburbs, Penrith Panthers, South Queensland Crushers, Gold Coast Chargers, Hull FC, Leeds Rhinos and the Ipswich Jets in a sixteen-year top grade career.
