Mark Powley
Mark Powley (born 4 October 1963) is a British actor known for his work on television. He appeared in 88 episodes of police drama ''The Bill'' as P.C Melvin (1987–1990), and as builder Tom in BBC sitcom ''Next of Kin'' for 2 series (1995–1996). In 2017, Powley shared his memories of ''The Bill'' and his career in general in an interview for The Bill Podcast. His father was a surgeon and his mother was a nurse. Career Powley has also made appearances in '' Birds of a Feather'', ''Casualty'', '' Game On'', ''Hollyoaks'', ''Emmerdale'' and sitcom '' Life of Riley''. He also had a role in the 2008 film '' Bronson'' opposite Tom Hardy. Chelmsford () is a city in the City of Chelmsford district in the county of Essex, England. It is the county town of Essex and one of three cities in the county, along with Colchester and Southend-on-Sea. It is located north-east of London at Charing Cross and south-west of Colchester. ''Life of Riley'' is a British comedy television series, shown on BBC One and BBC HD that aired for three series between 2009 and 2011. The programme stars Caroline Quentin and Neil Dudgeon as a recently married couple, and is set around their dysfunctional family. The show also features the couple's four children, Danny (Taylor Fawcett), Katy ( Lucinda Dryzek), Ted (Patrick Nolan), and Rosie (Ava and Neve Lamb (Series 1), Olivia and Megan Hay (Series 2), Islay And Skye Lavery (Series 3)). Johnno Dean
Johnno Dean is a fictional character from the British soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played originally by Mark Powley. He first appeared in November 2002, and from April 2003 was replaced by Colin Wells until his exit on 22 July 2005. The character returned on 26 to 31 October 2017 for a guest stint to coincide with the exit of his former wife, Frankie Osborne ( Helen Pearson). Casting Mark Powley originally played Johnno but the role was recast in 2003 with Colin Wells. Hollyoaks did not anticipate Johnno becoming a central character.
