Mark Peterson (born 1955) is an American photographer based in New York City. His work has been published in the ''New York Times Magazine'', ''New York Magazine'', ''Fortune Magazine'', ''Time'' magazine, ''ESPN The Magazine'', and ''Geo Magazine''. He is the author of the book ''Acts Of Charity'' (2004). Early life Peterson was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Tuvalu
Tuvalu ( or ; formerly known as the Ellice Islands) is an island country and microstate in the Polynesian subregion of Oceania in the Pacific Ocean. Its islands are situated about midway between Hawaii and Australia. Philip Weiss is an American journalist who co-edits ''Mondoweiss'' ("a news website devoted to covering American foreign policy in the Middle East, chiefly from a progressive Jewish perspective") with journalist Adam Horowitz.
