Mark Page (engineer)
Mark Page (born 1956) is an American aerodynamicist and aerospace engineer. He is most known for his contributions to the design of UAVs and Blended Wing Body (BWB) aircraft. He is currently the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at JetZero. Career Page started his career in 1980 as an aerospace engineer for McDonnell Douglas. There he first worked on the MDF-100 and MD-XX programs, and as head of Stability and Control on the MD-91, 92, and 94 propfan programs. Following this, he worked as chief aerodynamicist on the McDonnell Douglas MD-90. Then, after moving into the Research group, Page headed Stability and Control for NASA R&D programs including the F16XL Laminar Flow Control testbed, High Speed Civil Transport (HSCT) and Oblique Flying-Wing (OFW) programs. In his last three years at the company, Mark was technical program manager on the NASA/McDonnell Douglas BWB program where he developed the modern BWB configuration with Robert H. Formula Atlantic is a specification of open-wheel racing car developed in the 1970s. It was used in professional racing through the IMSA Atlantic Championship until 2009 and is currently primarily used in amateur racing through Sports Car Club of America Formula Atlantic. Eclipse 400
The Eclipse 400 (formerly Eclipse Concept Jet, or ECJ) is a single-engine very light jet that was designed by Eclipse Aviation and Swift Engineering. A development of the Eclipse 500, the Eclipse 400 prototype first flew in 2007 and was cancelled when the Eclipse company went bankrupt in 2008. Design and development The Eclipse 400 was first publicly unveiled on 23 July 2007 at AirVenture as the Eclipse Concept Jet (ECJ). The aircraft was intended to compete with the Cirrus Vision SF50, the Piper PA-47 PiperJet, the Epic Victory, and the Diamond D-Jet in the single-engine jet market. The was a concept car revealed on December 27, 2007, and designed by Swift Engineering and manufactured by Mazda. A teaser image of the vehicle was released on December 11, 2007. The Furai officially debuted at the 2008 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan. The National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) is a governing body which sets rules in drag racing and hosts events all over the United States and Canada. With over 40,000 drivers in its rosters, the NHRA claims to be the largest motorsport sanctioning body in the world. The association was founded by Wally Parks in 1951 in California to provide a governing body to organize and promote the sport of drag racing. Gary Scelzi
Gary Eugene Scelzi (born August 11, 1960) is an American dragster racer and midget car owner who has won the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series Top Fuel championship on three occasions and the Funny Car title once. In 1997 he won the title in his first full year of competition, after replacing Blaine Johnson, who had been killed at the 1996 US Nationals, while leading the top fuel championship, in the Johnson family-owned car. He has not competed in NHRA competition since the 2008 season. Racing career Scelzi was hired by Alan Johnson to replace his brother Blaine, killed in a crash at the U. S. Nationals in 1996.
