Mark Lind
The Ducky Boys are a street punk band from Boston. Since forming in 1995 in the Charlestown neighborhood of Boston, the band has released six full-length albums and over 80 songs. The band's name is derived from the name of an Irish street gang in the 1979 movie, '' The Wanderers''. Since 2004, the band has been composed of frontman Mark Lind (bass guitar and vocals), drummer Jason Messina, and guitarist Douglas Sullivan. The Ducky Boys have released five studio albums (the last three from this current line-up) along with several 7-inch records and appearances on compilations. Rich Crimlisk joined the band in 2012 and played on the ''Chemicals'' EP as well as the sixth studio album. Over the last ten years, the band's sound has evolved from quick punk riffs to more stripped-down rock music and a developing message of social consciousness. Slapshot (band)
Slapshot is an American hardcore punk band from Boston, Massachusetts. The band has been active for almost 40 years, releasing eight studio albums and a number of singles and EPs over that time period. Though there have been a significant number of line-up changes, founding member Jack "Choke" Kelly has remained a constant member of the band and its primary vocalist and leader. History Slapshot was formed in 1985 by Steve Risteen and Mark McKay, formerly of Terminally Ill; Jack "Choke" Kelly, formerly of Negative FX and Last Rights and Jonathan Anastas, formerly of Decadence and DYS. Due to the reputations of its members, the band had a relatively high profile even before its debut. Avoid One Thing
Avoid One Thing is a punk band that started as a side project by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones' bassist Joe Gittleman. The Boston, Massachusetts, Boston-based group's first album, titled ''Avoid One Thing (album), Avoid One Thing'', was released in 2002 on Side One Dummy Records. The album was written and recorded almost solely by Gittleman. Gittleman assembled a band with which to tour and play his music. Before the release of the band's next album in 2004, the band went through several lineup changes. John Lynch joined the band after Dave Karcich's death due to a sudden brain aneurysm. Street Dogs
Street Dogs is an American punk rock band from Boston, Massachusetts, formed in 2002 by former Dropkick Murphys singer Mike McColgan. The band disbanded in early 2020 after 17 years together but reunited again in 2024. History In 1997, McColgan left Dropkick Murphys "to pursue a lifelong dream of becoming a firefighter for the Boston Fire Department." In 2002, McColgan decided he could no longer stay away from music and formed Street Dogs. They first recorded a seven song-demo, which feature McColgan along with his former Dropkick Murphys bandmate Jeff Erna on drums, Rob Guidotti on guitar and Bill Close on bass. Mad Oak Studios is a recording studio located in Allston, Massachusetts neighborhood of Boston, United States. It was established in the year 2000 by Craig Riggs and Frank Pagliughi, who were later joined by PK Pandey and long-time head engineer Benny Grotto as co-owners. History Mad Oak Studios’ original location was formerly home to a wood-working shop called Mad Oak Wood Working.
